I’m also a proud mom of four, a long-time creative professional, and a believer in lasting beauty and intentional design.
💐 From Words to Florals: My Creative Journey
I spent over 15 years working in creative communications, with a professional background that bridges copywriting, social media, and brand storytelling. I worked as a copywriter and social media coordinator, helping local businesses shape their voices, grow their audiences, and connect with customers authentically. I have experience in almost every industry out there.
But long before Krysemera Designs bloomed, I built my foundation in customer service—over 22 years of direct experience across retail, hospitality, tech, and healthcare. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, and developed strong marketing instincts across nearly every industry.
That real-world experience helped me understand what customers truly value: personalization, care, and something that lasts.

I started crafting paper flowers as heartfelt gifts—each petal cut, shaped, and assembled by hand. What began as a small gesture of love quickly grew into Krysemera Designs: a floral business built on craftsmanship, storytelling, and sustainability.

Krysemera is a blend of my name and the word ephemera—a tribute to life’s fleeting moments and the desire to preserve them. As a paper florist, my mission is to turn those moments into something tangible, heartfelt, and everlasting.
🧠 Creating Through Chronic Illness - Living with MS
In 2023, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS)—a chronic, unpredictable neurological disease that affects the central nervous system.
Like so many people with invisible illnesses, I faced uncertainty, exhaustion, and the overwhelming need to redefine what life and work could look like. This was a life-altering moment that deepened my commitment to work with purpose and compassion.
Instead of giving up my creative work, I chose to reshape it.
Krysemera Designs became my way forward.
Art became therapy.
Floristry became a form of storytelling and resilience.
It offered a gentle, meditative art form I could practice at my own pace—something meaningful I could still give to others, even while managing fatigue, brain fog, and physical limitations.
My journey with MS is ongoing, but it has deepened my empathy, my patience, and my commitment to creating things that last.
